Getting Started

If you’re interested in enhancing the quality of child healthcare by helping address psychosocial problems facing many families, consider adding SEEK to your practice.

  1. Review the SEEK core materials to get a good sense of the SEEK approach – SEEK Parent Questionnaire-R (PQ-R), Guidelines and Responses to Barriers, Parent Handouts as well as the SEEK FAQs
  2. Indicate on the website if you’d like CME and/or MOC 2 and/or 4 credits
  3. Complete the SEEK online training independently or via the SEEK MOC 4 or PI Activity
  4. Be a “champion” for the innovation in your practice or find a professional colleague to play this role, with the help of a lead staff person
  5. Encourage other health professionals and staff in your practice to participate in SEEK
  6. Identify local resources to customize the SEEK Parent Handouts or use other similar handouts
  7. Prepare office staff for using the SEEK PQ-R and Parent Handouts
  8. Sign the License Agreement and submit to the SEEK project office by emailing rbelanger@som.umaryland.
